What's included in the price
Every charter from Dubai Marina includes the following as standard:

- Fuel for the standard Dubai Marina route (Marina → JBR → Bluewaters → Palm Jumeirah → Atlantis and back)

How duration affects the price
The minimum charter in Dubai Marina is 2 hours — this is a marina-wide standard, not an operator policy, and it exists because the standard sightseeing route takes roughly 90 minutes at cruising speed.

When you'll pay more (and when you'll pay less)
Season. Dubai's prime yachting season runs from November through April, when temperatures are mild and the water is calm. Rates are highest in this window, particularly around New Year's Eve and UAE National Day. Summer months from June to September see softer pricing and better availability.
Day of the week. Friday and Saturday slots carry a premium across Dubai Marina — typically 15–20% above weekday rates. Sunday through Wednesday is where the value is.
Time of day. Sunset slots (roughly 4pm–7pm depending on the month) are the most requested and the first to sell out. Morning departures are calmer, cheaper and often better for photography.
How far ahead you book. Peak-season weekend sunset slots are frequently gone two to three weeks out. Booking early is the single easiest way to pay less.

Working out your cost per person
Private yachts in Dubai are priced per vessel, not per head. To find your real per-person cost:
(Hourly rate × hours) ÷ number of guests
The Sapphire 62 at AED 750 per hour, booked for 3 hours with 18 guests, works out at roughly AED 125 per person — comparable to a decent dinner in Dubai Marina, for a private boat with a crew.
The maths only works in your favour when the yacht is reasonably full. Two people on a 62 ft yacht pay the same total as twenty. If you're a couple, book small — you'll get a better experience and a much lower bill.
Choosing the right size (and not overpaying)
The most common and most expensive mistake is booking a bigger yacht than the group needs.
- 2–8 guests: the Pearl 48 is plenty. There is deck space, shade, a cabin and a bathroom.
- 10–18 guests: step up to the Sapphire 62. This is the sweet spot for birthdays.
- 20–30 guests: the Opal 70 or Onyx 80 gives you room to move and space for catering.
- 30+ guests: you need the Crown 90 or Regent 120, and you should book well ahead.
Bigger is not automatically better. A well-specified 62 ft yacht can feel more premium than a tired 80 ft one — condition, interior and crew matter more than length.
